Judge Sides with J.Lo

Jennifer Lopez has managed to keep her ex-husband from revealing details from her private life.

The singer won her case against her ex-husband, Ojani Noa, who wanted to unveil home videos that the two recorded together.

A judge has officially forbidden Noa to distribute the footage. Yesterday (December 1), Judge James Chalfant stated, "They may not publish it for any reason. Anywhere, anytime, anyhow…without further court order. If they do, they go to jail."

For now, the decision is only a temporary injunction, but Lopez and her attorney expect to return to court to obtain a permanent injunction.

Despite rumours that Lopez would be seen nude in the videos and that they are sex tapes, her attorney clarified, "It’s private and personal, but it wasn’t a sex tape. They are innocent and they have been misrepresented…to increase value and media attention."

Lopez and Noa were married for less than a year and divorced in 1998.

The singer has already sued Noa for trying to publish a book about their marriage, and received slightly over $560 000 in damages.
