The high-end jacket label, founded in Grenoble in 1952, is joining forces with singer/producer Pharrell Williams to offer a new special edition jacket collection, reports FashionMag.
The central piece of the collection is a pacifist bulletproof-style jacket. The jacket’s interior was created from a series of photographs called Dark Forest by Japan’s Keith Seguira.
The clothing was created with recycled fabrics and plastic bottles provided by Bionic Yarn, an American company that is owned by Williams.
According to Moncler, Williams perfectly represents the spirit of the label because of his eclectic, contemporary vision and the rich ideas he brings to the creative process.
The first goose down jacket by Moncler appeared in 1954. After it was first worn by skiers and hikers in the 80s, the item became a fashion statement seen in the city.
