The Scent of Michael Jackson

A new fragrance has been created using Michael Jackson’s DNA.

Jackson fans can now get a bit closer to their fallen idol, with a scent featuring the King of Pop’s actual DNA, reports Spinner.

The Los Angeles company My DNA Fragrance teamed with John Reznikoff to create the new Michael Jackson fragrance called M.  Reznikoff owns one of the largest collections of celebrity DNA in the world.  Using a special process, DNA can be extracted from a lock of hair.

Few details have been revealed so far about the fragrance’s smell, but the company says that "this cologne is unique like no other cologne in the world."

M will be a part of the Antiquity fragrance collection, and will be sold for roughly $60 US.  The product will be sold in 3 ounce silver bottles in the form of a Michael Jackson coat.  The collection also offers fragrances made from the DNA of Albert Einstein, Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe.

M is available for pre-order, and will hit selected stores in early 2010.
