Holmes has been defending herself against criticism that has rolled in from parenting experts after her daughter, Suri, was photographed in heels.
"Like every little girl, she loves my high heels," the actress told Access Hollywood.
Little Suri has been seen several times wearing heeled shoes, bringing a sea of controversy. Some experts even suggested that this type of footwear can impair Suri’s development. "A common side effect of adults wearing heels too often is the tightening or shortening of the Achilles tendon," said New York doctor, Oliver Zong.
However, Holmes insists that Suri’s shoes are fine. "They are actually ballroom dancing shoes for kids. I found them for her and she loves them," explained the star.
Just weeks earlier, Holmes was also criticised by parenting experts when photographs were published of Suri using a baby bottle.
