Designer Zac Posen is taking the same direction as several designers these days, including Stella McCartney, and introducing a line of sportswear, reports Vogue.
The new collection will be launched via the New York designer’s brand, Z Spoke, and will feature the same high quality as the brand’s other collections.
The sportswear range, consisting of shorts, skirts, sweaters and dresses, gives the designer a "new identity.” Posen added, “It’s not Zac-for-less, it’s not the little sister collection at all.”
According to Posen, sports clothing should be available at reasonable prices, without sacrificing style. The collection features 60 pieces and will be sold exclusively at Saks Fifth Avenue this spring.
