At the age of 63, Glover will soon be a newlywed when he takes Cavalleiro, a 43-year-old Brazilian teacher, as his bride.
Glover confirmed his intentions during the Rio de Janeiro Film Festival, adding that he’s not sure if he and Eliane will stay in the United States after they marry. "(Living together in the U.S.) that’s not definitive. We can live here (in Brazil) and there. All I know is that I want to be with her. We’ll see how the logistics work out," explained the Lethal Weapon star.
The actor and his girlfriend met at the World Social Forum in Brazil in 2003.
The star was previously married to Asake Romani, with whom he has a daughter, Mandisa, who was born in January 1976.
Glover is currently starring in the end-of-the-world flick, 2012, with John Cusack. He will also be on screens in Death at a Funeral, which opens on April 16, 2010, and also stars Luke Wilson, Martin Lawrence and Chris Rock. Later, he’ll star in Alpha and Omega, with Justin Long and Hayden Panettiere, opening on October 10, 2010.
