People magazine announced their latest list of the hottest guys on the planet, and Johnny Depp is at the top once again.
The 46-year-old actor, who was also the title holder in 2003, topped competition from several stars, including last year’s winner, Hugh Jackman.
Kate Coyne, a journalist for People, explained their selection while on CBS’s The Early Show. She said that Depp was an obvious choice because of his "iconic status in terms of sexiness."
"Johnny Depp was someone who was sexy 10 years ago. He’ll be sexy 10 years from now. He’s someone who appeals to multiple generations of women," added Coyne.
Depp isn’t the only star to have earned the title more than once. Brad Pitt, George Clooney and Richard Gere have all been chosen twice.
Matt Bomer, who stars in White Collar, was named the Sexiest Rising Star.
