A Free Album from Them Crooked Vultures

The new album from Them Crooked Vultures can be heard for free on the Internet.

For the new group and their highly anticipated first album, this strategy should help them to gain a quick fan base.  Them Crooked Vultures decided to release their first album in its entirety for free in digital format.

The band is comprised of Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age, Dave Grohl of Nirvana and Foo Fighters, and John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin.

The eponymous album has been online since this morning, and the CD will hit music store shelves on November 17.  Also, special vinyl and mp3 versions are in the works.

The official release of the album will coincide with the start of The Crooked Times tour, which kicks off with a show in Los Angeles.  For the moment, no stops are planned for Canada, though the band will travel to Europe in December after 4 shows in the United States.
