Jennifer Lopez Smacks Ex with Lawsuit

Jennifer Lopez is suing her ex-husband for the second time, now that he intends to make a film about their marriage.

Lopez has won a part of her battle against her ex-hubby, after a judge issued a temporary ban on the film’s production about their short marriage, reports Orange News.

Ojani Noa, who was married the singer for eleven months between 1997 and 1998, is making a satiric documentary entitled How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The J.Lo and Ojani Noa Story. It presents a particular video shot during the then-couple’s honeymoon.

Lopez filed a lawsuit for breach of contract and is suing her ex for over 10 million dollars in damages. The star claims that Noa signed a confidentiality agreement before their marriage, promising not to disclose information pertaining to their relationship.

Yesterday (November 9), Judge James Chalfant ordered a temporary ban on the film. Another trial is scheduled for today (November 10), when it will be decided whether the ban will become permanent.

The singer already sued Noa before, because he tried to publish a book on their marriage. Lopez received a little over $560 000 in damages.

Jennifer Lopez is now married to singer Marc Anthony.  They wed in 2004, and are now the proud parents of twins, Max and Emme.
