Ian Halperin claims that Star magazine published several lies about his upcoming book.
According to the tabloid, the book analyzes the relationship between Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, and Pitt’s divorce from Jennifer Aniston. Star reveals that the book also discusses Pitt’s eating habits and the fact that Jolie barely eats. Their strict parenting style is also mentioned, as well as the fact that Pitt reportedly turned to drinking in order to deal with his pain when Jolie took a secret lover into their home in France.
According to Halperin, who was surprised to read the article in the tabloid, none of that is in the book. He explained, "I never spoke to [the magazine]. In fact, I finished writing the book late last night (November 5) which was hours after the Star story broke!"
The actor then informed people to read the actual excerpts from his book on the celebrity couple on December 1, the date of its release.
