Music-News reports that the singer, whose mother, Darnell Donnerson, brother and nephew were murdered in October 2008, feels she is protected by her mother’s spirit, and is driven by her mother’s memory in her role as new mom to her 3-month-old son, David.
When asked if she felt her mother was with her, Hudson replied, ”Oh my God, yeah. Definitely. Wherever."
The star added that every day, she realises what her mother meant to her, which she never realised before. "My mother was the strongest person I’ve ever seen," she said.
Hudson is delighted by the arrival of her son, and says that motherhood has completely changed her life. She also didn’t forget to mention her deep gratitude for her fiancé David Otunga’s support.
The singer expressed, "Being a mom is the most amazing thing ever. But it’s hard to put into words because it’s something you have to experience to understand. I love every minute of it."
