Morgan Freeman Gets Dirty

Morgan Freeman will play a heartbreaker in a new comedy from Peter Segal.

Morgan will be working under the direction of Segal (Get Smart) in a yet-untitled comedy that was previously using the name Dirty Old Men.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the film will be along the lines of The 40 Year Old Virgin and Wedding Crashers.  The story follows an aging womanizer who finally meets the love of his life.  Freeman will play the man’s long-time friend who attempts to break up the new union.

The movie will be produced by Lori McCreary, a partner at Freeman’s company, Revelations Entertainment, along with Segal’s company, Callahan Filmworks.  Freeman will also act as executive producer.

Warner Bros. hopes that Jack Nicholson will star opposite Freeman.  The two actors shared the screen in The Bucket List last year, which garnered $172 million at box offices worldwide.

Morgan Freeman will also be playing Nelson Mandela in the biographical drama Invictus, directed by Clint Eastwood and also starring Matt Damon.  The film hits theatres on December 11.  In January, he will be seen in the action comedy Red, with Bruce Willis.
