During a recent trip to the Middle East to meet Syrian refugees, Jolie and Pitt also found time to visit young orphans.
The couple stopped by the SOS Children orphanage in Amman to comfort the parentless children after receiving an invitation from Queen Noor of Jordan.
"The SOS model of providing care for children without parental care is one of the best, as they are still in a family setting within their own country. We hope more people learn about their programs (sic) and give them support," Jolie told Us magazine.
This was the first time that Brad Pitt has come to Jordan, but Jolie was in the country in 2003.
