Breast Milk Ingredient Isolated

It is now possible to add a component of breast milk to the diet of non-breast fed babies.

The Jennewein Biotechnology Laboratory has reproduced an ingredient found in breast milk.

According to a statement released by the company, the laboratory has been able to reproduce an oligosaccharide, an ingredient found in breast milk that protects the baby.

This glucose-based molecule decreases the risk of diarrhea and also viral and bacterial infections.

Using a technique developed by the laboratory, they were able to reproduce this ingredient. It is now possible to add this to the milk of babies that are not breast fed.
