Each year, the Club des Croqueurs de Chocolat compiles a list of the best chocolate makers in France.
For the second year in a row, Fabrice Gillotte, Jean-Paul Hévin and Pierre Hermé are at the top of the list.
On October 15, during the Salon du Chocolat, nine of the best chocolate makers will win a prize for the best chocolate.
Club members will choose the winners based on a blind taste test which includes pieces of dark chocolate, milk chocolate, praline and a one speciality from each artist.
The Salon du Chocolat will take place until October 14 in Paris.
