To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the release of I Want You Back, the first single by the Jackson 5, Motown has decided to release a 12-track compilation album of the famous quintet’s songs.
I Want You Back! Unreleased Masters is slated for November 10, and the first single, That’s How Love Is, is already available on iTunes. We can also hear the song on the Jackson 5 Web site, jackson5.com.
Motown will also release the The Jackson 5 Ultimate Christmas Collection album on October 13, a compilation of 21 Christmas tunes, including wishes from each member of the group.
Some claim that Motown is trying to take advantage of Michael Jackson’s recent death with the release of these two albums.
