Commemorative Cruise For 100th Anniversary Of Titanic

It is now possible to relive the legendary cruise of the Titanic.

To mark the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the Titanic, a commemorative cruise will follow the same route as the famous ship on April 8, 2012, the same day the fatal cruise departed in 1912.

Starting from Southampton, England, the ship called the Balmoral, which holds 1 350 passengers, will travel to the exact point where the tragedy occurred and a ceremony will take place at 11:40 pm on April 14 to 2:20 am on April 15, the exact length of time it took for the Titanic to sink.

The ship will then travel to Halifax, where passengers can visit three cemeteries where most of the victims from the Titanic are buried. They will then travel to New York, the expected destination 100 years ago.

During the trip, passengers can enjoy readings by historians, enjoy the same menu that was served and listen to music from that era.

The Boston Overseas Company (www.bortonoverseas.com) is now taking reservations for this historic cruise.
