According to The Hollywood Reporter, Neeson has joined the cast of the American remake of the French film Pour elle.
In the movie, Russell Crowe and Elizabeth Banks will play an ordinary couple who find themselves in an unlikely situation. When the woman is imprisoned for a murder she didn’t commit, her husband vows to help her escape. Neeson will play a man who gives Crowe’s character advice, since he is a successful escapee, and has even written a book on the subject.
The cast also includes Brian Dennehy, Lennie James, Olivia Wilde, Aisha Hinds, Daniel Stern, Jonathan Tucker and RZA. Filming began last Friday (October 2) in Pittsburgh.
Liam Neeson is currently filming The A-Team, and we can also see him as Zeus in Clash of the Titans, opening on March 26, 2010.
