The actor, who has starred in Halloween and Grindhouse, will be starring in the upcoming film. Predators will be produced by Robert Rodriguez and directed by Nimrod Antal.
According to Empire, Trejo will play a member of an isolated group, which discovers unspeakable horrors.
Filming is set to begin next month. Predators should reach theatres on July 7, 2010.
Danny Trejo is currently filming Machete with Robert De Niro, Michelle Rodriguez, Jessica Alba and Lindsay Lohan. He also starred in The Bill Collector, The Killing Jar and Dark Games, for which release dates have not been announced.
