AC/DC Forced to Delay 6 Shows

Medical reasons are to blame for changes in the AC/DC tour schedule.

On doctor’s orders, the band will be rescheduling 6 shows in order to give singer Brian Johnson time to heal.

Johnson underwent a medical procedure that hasn’t been revealed to the public, and his doctor insists that he takes a few weeks off to fully recover.

The Australian band, which is in the middle of the Black Ice tour, will perform the 6 delayed shows later than planned.

According to the AC/DC Web site, performances for Phoenix, Las Vegas, Louisville, Kansas City, Des Moines and Milwaukee will all be rescheduled.  The band will take the stage for the first time following Johnson’s operation on October 16 in Washington. Johnson, 62, announced that he will be retiring when the Black Ice tour is over.
