Yesterday (September 24), the actress obtained a temporary injunction against ex-hubby Daniel Giersch, reports People.
Rutherford claims that the German businessman has been following her, as well as her mother and her nanny, and has showed up unexpectedly to threaten and scare them.
The restraining order will be effective for 21 days until a hearing takes place on October 15.
Giersch’s attorney denies the accusations, and adds that Rutherford’s claims are "fabricated accusations" to tarnish his client’s reputation.
The couple has been battling over custody for their two children for several months now.
