After he stole the spotlight by playing a Nazi in Inglourious Basterds and was awarded as best actor at the Cannes Film Festival, Waltz will be playing a villain in The Green Hornet.
After months of speculation and rumours that Nicolas Cage would be playing Chudnovsky, the role is finally going to Waltz, reports Deadline Hollywood.
He will be starring opposite Seth Rogen and Cameron Diaz under the direction of Michel Gondry.
This film, adapted from The Green Hornet comic book, is headed for theatres on December 17, 2010.
