A Growing Cast for What’s Wrong with Virginia

Three actors will be starring opposite Jennifer Connelly in What’s Wrong with Virginia.

Ed Harris, Emma Roberts and Amy Madigan have joined Jennifer Connelly in the independent drama What’s Wrong with Virginia.

According to Variety, Harris is replacing Liam Neeson for the role of a sheriff whose daughter is dating the son of a psychologically disturbed woman with whom he had an affair nearly 20 years back. Madigan will play the sheriff’s wife and Roberts will play their daughter.

Dustin Lance Black, the Oscar-winning screenwriter for Milk, wrote the script in addition to taking on the duties as director. Filming is set to begin on September 28 in Michigan.

Ed Harris and Amy Madigan will also star together in the film Once Fallen, which does not yet have a release date. As for Emma Roberts, she will be seen in the film The Winning Season, which is also awaiting its official opening date.
