Michael Jackson Tribute Postponed

The Michael Jackson tribute concert, which was set to take place in Vienna, Austria this month, will be postponed and relocated.

The King of Pop’s brother, Jermaine Jackson, announced that too many artists are unable to perform at the event, thus, the show has been delayed until June 2010 in London, reports BBC News.

He stated, "Numerous stars were just not able to change their schedules to make a live appearance at the Vienna event possible."

Recently, representatives for Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown and Natalie Cole announced that their clients would not be able to perform at the event, contrary to what Jermaine had announced.

Jackson added that given the short time frame to book other available artists, he would prefer to postpone the concert until June, just before the first anniversary of his brother’s death.

The exact venue where the show will be held has not been confirmed, although Jackson revealed that London’s Wembley Stadium would be ideal.
