Brown’s performance in tribute to the King of Pop has not been confirmed, despite the fact that Michael’s brother, Jermaine, named him as the show’s headliner.
Brown’s rep stated, "Chris is not confirmed to perform or participate in any capacity for this show."
According to London’s The Mirror, the singer may hit the stage if the American court grants him permission. The star is now under probation for assaulting his ex-girlfriend Rihanna, and must get authorization from a judge to travel abroad for the event in Vienna, Austria.
The Jackson family is not particularly thrilled about this concert, and mentioned that it’s only Jermaine’s ploy to advance his career.
