FemaleFirst reports that Brown’s mom still has a soft spot in her heart for Rihanna.
Joyce Hawkins has not seen the singer since her son assaulted Rihanna in February.
"I love Rihanna. She’s like a daughter. She became family to us. She’s spent Christmas with us for the last two years. I miss her a lot," confessed Hawkins.
Brown pleaded guilty and was sentenced to six months of community service, 12 months of therapy and 5 years of probation, in addition to being ordered to stay more than 100 metres away from the singer.
Brown recently revealed in an interview that he is still in love with Rihanna, and that he got what he deserved.
