The band announced on their Web site that their debut single off 21st Century Breakdown will bear the same title as their album, reports Rolling Stone.
In the song’s video, the group will once again team up with director Marc Webb, who worked on the video for 21 Guns.
The single is due out next month.
The American Idiot tour was expected to wrap up on October 11, however, due to popular demand, it has been extended until November 1.
