Guy Ritchie To Direct Lobo

Guy Ritchie is set to bring Lobo to the big screen.

According to Variety, Ritchie will be directing the film adaptation of Lobo, a DC Comics creation introduced in 1983 by Roger Slifer and Keith Giffen.

Lobo is a blue-skinned, 7-foot tall, motorcycle riding alien bounty hunter.  When he lands on Earth looking for fugitives, he will team up with a teenager to stop the creatures from wreaking havoc.

The screenplay was written by Don Payne and will begin shooting next year.

Guy Ritchie’s next film, Sherlock Holmes, starring Robert Downey Jr. will open in theatres on Christmas Day.
