The most recent American Idol winner announced on Thursday (August 27) that his new album is set for November 17, reports Billboard.com.
A representative from 19 Entertainment also confirmed the plans for release. Allen recorded the album with Joe King of The Fray, songwriter Claude Kelly (Akon, Leona Lewis), Salaam Remi (Nas, Amy Winehouse) and David Hodges (Kelly Clarkson, Daughtry).
The new star also worked in the studio with singer/songwriter Matt Kearney, and also revealed last week that he wrote material with Toby Gad (Beyonce, Fergie) and Lindy Robbins (Backstreet Boys, Jordin Sparks).
