Winfrey and her colleague, Dr. Mehmet Oz, are hoping to put an end to the use of their names and images in product endorsements for items ranging from beauty products to dietary supplements.
The lawsuit was filed yesterday (August 19) in New York, and the documents are requesting an end to unauthorized use of their names, photos, voices and trademarks, which have severely affected their reputations.
