A New Record for Black Eyed Peas

The band Black Eyed Peas has set a new record on the Billboard charts.

The group is the new record holder for holding the top position on the Billboard Hot 100 for the most consecutive weeks, reports Starpulse.com.

The band has enjoyed 20 weeks at number one.  The previous record was set by Usher, who was at the top spot for 19 weeks.

The songs Boom Boom Pow and I Gotta Feeling were number one songs for 12 weeks and 8 weeks, respectively.
