According to PageSix of the New York Post, a tribute concert for Jackson is being planned. However, the spokespersons for Madonna and Whitney Houston revealed that the two stars do not plan to take the stage.
The concert is set to take place next month in Vienna, Austria, as confirmed by Jermaine Jackson earlier this week. Jackson also tried to book Larry King’s wife, Shawn, to perform at the event.
Austrian media claimed that Usher, Lionel Richie and Whitney Houston would be performing.
Producer Georg Kindel of World Awards Media, the company behind the event, falsely claimed that Madonna, the Queen of Pop, would be paying homage to her late friend.
