According to RadarOnline.com, Abdul recently received an offer to join the show Australian Idol.
The show, which includes four judges, takes on the same format as American Idol.
The Australians are showing serious interest in recruiting the ex-American Idol judge, and hope that things will work out with the singer.
Meanwhile, the ABC television network is trying to get Abdul to appear on Dancing With The Stars.
A source revealed, "Don’t count out a return to American Idol for Paula. Sure there are bad feelings but a return is not out of the question."
Simon Cowell has been supportive of Abdul, as have judges Randy Jackson and Kara DioGuardi.
