Twilight Gets a New Victoria

Bryce Dallas Howard will be replacing Rachelle Lefevre in the third instalment of Twilight.

Summit Entertainment announced that Howard (Terminator Salvation) will be replacing Lefevre in the role of Victoria for The Twilight Saga: Eclipse.

A scheduling conflict has forced the Montreal star to turn down an offer to play in the third Twilight film. Shooting is set to begin in August in Vancouver, but Lefevre has already been recruited to film Barney’s Version, which also begins production in August.

Producers revealed that they are glad to have Howard on board for the Twilight sequel, which will be directed by David Slade (30 Days of Night).

In addition, Bryce Dallas Howard will be working with her father, director Ron Howard, on two productions. He will be directing his daughter’s first scripted film, The Originals, and The Look of Real, in which Bryce plays a role.
