During an interview with radio V-103 in Atlanta, Jay-Z confirmed rumours that he has a contract with a publishing company.
Last week, The New York Observer said that the singer was close to signing with Random House publishing company to release three books, his memoirs, a book on business and another on the meaning of his songs.
The singer confirmed that he has signed a contract for the book on his songs, entitled Decoded, to decode songs on his albums, but that there is no contract yet for the other two books. He said, "Well it’s not done, the other two books, it hasn’t kicked in yet, I haven’t signed that deal.”
No launch date has been announced for Jay-Z’s book, which will unveil the meaning behing his most controversial songs.
