Alice In Chains Announce Tour

Alice in Chains have announced their first tour in 10 years.

One of the flagship icons of grunge music will be taking the stage, ten years after their last tour.

The first time that the Seattle group broke up was in 2002, after singer Layne Staley died of a drug overdose.

In 2005, the group reformed without a singer and the following year, William DuVall picked up the microphone.

Yesterday, the group announced that their tour will begin on September 24 in support of their first studio album since the 1995 release of Alice in Chains.

The album, Black Gives Way To Blue, will hit stores on September 29, 5 days after they begin their tour in Canada and the United States.
