The actor, who made his breakthrough in the 1984 film A Nightmare on Elm Street, finds it strange that people qualify him as a celebrity, and prefers to stay far away from the spotlight, reports FemaleFirst.
He said, "I can’t think of myself in terms of celebrity. It’s just too weird. If the choice is between being gawked at and sitting in a chair in a dark room, I prefer the dark room."
The 46-year-old star added that his goal was never to be famous, and admitted that his success has everything to do with luck.
