Rumours that singer Jessica Simpson will host a television reality show on VH1 have been confirmed by People.
In the show The Price of Beauty, expected to be released in July, the star will travel around the world and discover the sacrifices that women are willing to endure in their quest for beauty.
“When [I was approached] for a show about true beauty, I was immediately intrigued. I have always believed that beauty comes from within and confidence will always make a woman beautiful, but I know how much pressure some women put on themselves to look perfect,” said Simpson, who is eager to discover the cultural differences in beauty.
