On October 13, Pink Martini is set to release their fourth album, Splendor in the Grass.
The eclectic lounge-pop group, who has a loyal fan base, intends to make the new disc surprising, but cohesive.
Founder Thomas Lauderdale, who is very excited about the new album, stated, "Sometimes with these albums, the danger is everything becoming too random. With this one, I think it has the energy of the first album [‘Sympathique‘]."
