The group cancelled their tour of Australia, citing the economic crisis as the culprit behind poor ticket sales, reports Billboard.
Donnie Wahlberg explained that they had no choice but to scrap the tour, despite their best efforts. He stated, "We are, in fact, in the middle of a worldwide recession and we just cannot make it work."
Wahlberg added that the group was truly disappointed not to be going to Australia in August, since this particular destination has "always, always, been one of our favorite places to travel to."
