The group has not released an album since 2003, and is currently in the studio working on ideas for their new disc.
The London, England group is in an exploratory mode to figure out what will be on the new album.
Bassist Alex James told BBC 6 Music that the group is experimenting with some new ideas. "Damon [Albarn, frontman] will be jangling along with some chords and I’ll start banging along and you’ll [Coxon] join," he said. "Our musical cup overflow-eth at the moment. It’s all good."
Guitarist Graham Coxon also added during the interview that the group wouldn’t attempt to play freshly completed songs, stating, "
