Weaver has accepted a part in You Again, but is still in negotiations for joining the cast of Paul.
The actress is expected to film Paul first, reports Variety. The film follows two science fiction fanatics (Simon Pegg and Nick Frost) who go on an adventure across America. They meet an alien who escaped from the legendary Area 51 base. The role Weaver would play in the film is still unknown.
Next, she will join Kristen Bell on the set of You Again. Bell plays a young woman who returns home to help in her brother’s wedding. Unfortunately, she finds that he will marry her worst high school enemy. Weaver will play the bride’s rich aunt.
Meanwhile, we can see Weaver in the upcoming James Cameron film, Avatar, opening on December 18.
