The BBC has learned that the trust fund, created for the child stars of the film Slumdog Millionaire, will be used to buy them houses, since they are both currently homeless.
The news was confirmed by Danny Boyle, the filmmaker behind the movie that completely swept the last Academy Awards ceremony. "They were given access to a world, an extraordinary and glamorous world, and they understandably want their lives to be completely transformed. The homes are a concern. That is one of the reasons why we built the trust," explained Boyle.
Slumdog Millionaire producer, Christian Colson, confirmed that he is working hard so that the two children can soon have a home.
