According to a report from NME.com, there is a high likelihood that DiCaprio will be chosen to play Frank Sinatra in a film about the late Rat Pack member.
Director Martin Scorsese is heading the film, which will focus on Sinatra’s alleged involvement with the mafia.
DiCaprio, who worked with Scorsese in 2002 on the film Gangs of New York, is said to be the director’s first pick to play the lead.
The actor is reportedly so thrilled about landing this role that he has hired a professional singing teacher to help him mimic Sinatra’s style.
