Eminem Gives a Free Concert

Eminem will be giving a free concert to celebrate the release of his album Relapse.

Since Sunday evening, Eminem fans were lined up at a particular music store in Detroit, after the rapper announced that he would be giving a free concert in his hometown.

To promote the release of Relapse, the 36-year-old artist, who is making a comeback after 2004’s Encore, will be giving a free concert today at the Sound Board Theatre in Detroit’s Motor City Casino.

Part of the concert will be shown tonight and on Friday on the evening talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live!.

The free show was announced on MySpace Music on Sunday, informing fans that the Record Time music store in Roseville, Michigan would start giving out tickets on Monday at 5:00pm. The line began to form as soon as the announcement was made.

Tickets were also given out through a lottery at Hot Topic stores, MySpace Music, as well as by Detroit radio stations.
