Simpson says that she has no regrets about her marriage to Lachey, even though the union ended in divorce in 2005.
The 28-year-old singer also defends her decision to exploit their private lives when the couple starred in the MTV reality show, Newlyweds. Simpson doesn’t blame the series for the breakdown of the marriage.
"The show made me understand what marriage is, what love is, what commitment is. In all honesty, I believe it did not affect our marriage. Because we enjoyed watching those episodes, and that will always be a time I cherish," revealed Simpson.
