A Follow-Up to Wolverine

Hugh Jackman has several projects underway, one being the sequel to Wolverine.

According to Variety, Hugh Jackman and his partners at Seed Productions have several projects on the table.

Among these projects is the follow-up to Wolverine, for which a script is in the works. This time, the story is set to focus on the samurai storyline, as written in the comic books.

In addition, Fox has acquired the rights to Personal Security, a script penned by Matt Lieberman. Hugh Jackman would be playing a police detective who is forced to become a body guard for a spoiled teenage heiress who under threat of being kidnapped.

Jackman is also on board for the film Drive, where he plays a race car driver by day and getaway car driver by night. The screenplay is an adaptation of a novel by James Sallis.

Finally, the actor is considering the film Carousel, which has been in the development process for quite some time. He would be playing Billy Bigelow, and this version of the1956 classic flick will try to keep within the spirit of the original.
