Production Weekly announced that Keanu Reeves is in talks to star in the film Cartagena. Clive Owen had first been considered for the role.
The story follows an undercover agent investigating a Colombian drug trafficking cartel. He finds himself in a complex situation where if he wants to survive, he has to escape drug dealers as well as international agents.
Michael Ross penned the script.
Keanu Reeves is also starring in The Private Lives of Pippa Lee, which does not yet have an opening date.
