Amanda Peet in Gulliver’s Travel

Amanda Peet has landed a role in the film Gulliver’s Travel, inspired by the classic Jonathan Swift tale.

Actress Amanda Peet has joined Jack Black, Jason Segel and Emily Blunt on the set of Gulliver’s Travel, The Hollywood Reporter has announced.

Inspired by the Jonathan Swift tale, the screenplay, written by Nicholas Stoller (Yes Man) and Joe Stillman (Shrek), has been given a modern twist. The film is being directed by Rob Letterman (Shark Tale, Monsters vs. Aliens).

The tale follows the adventures of Lemuel Gulliver (Black), an author who writes about his voyages, who gets shipwrecked on Lilliput Island while on a mission in the Bermuda Triangle. He will encounter a colony of little men. Peet will play Gulliver’s editor and love interest.

Shooting for Gulliver’s Travel began last month.

Meanwhile, Amanda Peet will be seen in the film 2012, opening on November 13.
