A Solo Career for Cheryl Cole

Cheryl Cole is taking a break from Girls Aloud to concentrate on her own projects.

While Girls Aloud is taking a break this year, singer Cheryl Cole will spend the time working on her solo album, reports NME.com.

Cole is currently choosing her collaborating producer for the project.

During the hiatus, each of the group’s singers will be focusing on their own personal projects, with endeavours in film, fashion and music.

Girls Aloud was formed in 2002 during the British TV talent show Popstars: The Rivals. Proving to be extremely popular in the United Kingdom, the group has managed to land in the British top 10 for their 20 consecutive songs.
